My name is Amber and I am the owner and cookie creator here at I Heart Sprinkles. I am originally from Bourbonnais, IL, and am now located in Tomball, TX.  I am a wife, mother, Christian, and lover of all crafts.
I started decorating cakes at a very young age with my mom and began selling my creations in 2005. In 2010 I was introduced to the world of decorated sugar cookies and fell in love. Cookie masters like Bake at 350, Sweet Ambs, and Sweet Sugarbelle inspired me to try it for myself and I never looked back! I now do cookies full time and love the opportunity to create edible works of art. I really enjoy learning new techniques like stenciling, airbrushing, hand painting, and lettering. The possibilities are endless!
I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accountancy. I currently stay home full time with my 3 little ones, 9, 7, & 3, and fit cookie orders in as much as I can.
When I'm not baking I love to express my creativity any way I can and am always trying to learn new mediums. I enjoy bible journaling, creative planning, and scrapbooking. I am also a huge fan of fitness, being outdoors, and hanging out at the pool. My husband and I also just embarked on a new adventure and opened a new ice cream shop with some friends, Subzero Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt in Spring, TX. When I'm not decorating cookies I'm freezing up ice cream creations there with liquid nitrogen.
